Water Kettle

Origin: Japan

The kettle is one of Sori Yanagi’s most famous designs. A total of fifteen small Japanese factories deliver the handcrafted parts, including the wide base that ensures the water is boiled quickly and efficiently, and the built-in steel filter that collects any calcium deposits and ensures easy pouring of the boiled water. The meticulously designed slope and size of the kettle make it easy to pour without spillage and difficult to burn yourself. In 1998, Sori Yanagi’s kettle won the Good Design award in Japan for its exceptional design and functionality. The kettle is his best-selling design in Japan.
