Flos Goldman Table Light
Almost everyone knows it, the banker’s lamp, which has been in offices all over the world almost since the invention of electric light. In fact, the lamp form known from countless films dates from the early 20. century, where it first simplified the work of bankers. After all, they had to look at small numbers all day long and needed a functional and space-saving luminaire that produced good, uniform light.
In reference to this long history, designer Ron Gilad has named his reinterpretation of the Banker luminaire after a traditional investment bank. The Goldman table lamp from Flos takes up the classic lamp form and transfers it to modernity, while retaining central design elements.
