Georg Jensen Legacy Heart Box

Georg Jensen Legacy Heart Box – Inspired by the Georg Jensen design history, the Legacy collection builds on the beloved contours of legendary Georg Jensen designs. The pieces are easily united in the perfect table setting, though each on their own also have a powerful aesthetic presence.

LEGACY–this heart-shaped box holds sweet surprises inside

LEGACY is a wonderful gift idea

Few things are more viscerally pleasing than the curvaceous, instantly recognisable heart shape. As a box, it practically begs to be picked up, touched and opened. The shiny, scalloped chromium-plated surface forms a beautiful reflection.

The bonbonniere is ideal for its intended use–to hold candies–but also works well as a place to put keys, jewellery and other small objects.

Give it to a special someone as a Valentine’s Day or Anniversary Gift or treat yourself to a piece that is sure to make you smile for months and years to come.

Philip Bro Ludvigsen

Industrial Designer Philip Bro Ludvigsen was educated at the Danish School of Design and Art. IN 1998, he launched his own design studio, known simply as Philip Bro. He is a star of the design world and a pioneer of the way we think about design today.

Georg Jensen History

With a history that spans more than 100 years, the Georg Jensen brand represents quality craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design, producing lifestyle products ranging from hollowware to watches, jewellery and home products.

The philosophy of Georg Jensen himself was to create democratic designs possessing both functionality and beauty. His artisanal skill and artistic talent combined with his continuous ability to identify and support design talent was the foundation on which he built Georg Jensen in Copenhagen in 1904.

Georg Jensen’s style embraced the Art Nouveau lines of the day but injected them with a distinctive vigour that continues to resonate today. Serene flowing forms are enriched by exquisitely sculpted ornamentation and his stylised bouquets of flowers and lush bunches of grapes reflect his sensual delight in nature. Our most important task is to leverage the ideas and principles of the master himself and translate these into the design of the present day.
