Following the runaway success of the Louis Ghost armchair, Kartell created a “baby” version of the famous Philippe Starck chair. Lou Lou Ghost inherits its “paternal” classic lines, material, indestructibility and ergonomics and teaches little ones how to use a pint-sized chair with a grown-up shape. Made just for children, this chair is available in a rainbow of fun and delightful colours.

The designer: Philippe Starck (born January 18, 1949) is a French designer known since the start of his career in the 1980s for his interior, product, industrial and architectural design including furniture.
“Subversive, ethical, ecological, political, humorous… this is how I see my duty as a designer.” Philippe Starck
A career rich with 10,000 creations – completed or yet to come – global fame and tireless protean inventiveness should never overshadow the essential, Philippe Starck has a mission, a vision: that creation, whatever form it takes, must improve the lives of as many people as possible. Starck vehemently believes this poetic and political, rebellious and benevolent, pragmatic and subversive duty should be shared by everyone. He sums it up with the humour that’s set him apart from the very beginning: “No one has to be a genius, but everyone has to participate.”
The Brand: Kartell now has over 130 single-brand flagship stores, 250 shop-in-shops and 2500 retailers in over 130 countries. A leading design company, founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli and now run by Claudio Luti, Kartell is one of the symbols of Italian design around the world. A success story told through an incredible series of products – furniture, furnishings, lighting, home accessories – that have become part of the domestic landscape, not to mention actual contemporary design icons.
