Colourful bowl made of lime wood

The wooden bowl of the Twergi collection from Alessi was designed by the famous designer Ettore Sottsass. The design of different elements and forms shows a structure typical for Sottsass. It develops in height and is meant to remind of a tree with a lush crown and roots deeply anchored in the ground. The sculptural bowl is food-safe and is therefore ideal for storing fresh fruit in the kitchen or for presenting delicious nuts or snacks in the dining room or living room.

Part of the Twergi collection

Since 1989, Alessi has been reviving the centuries-old manufacturing tradition on the lathe. Many young designers were fascinated by the simplicity of the tool and have since designed various wooden products. The Twergi collection includes pepper mills, corkscrews, tins and bowls.

The Twergi bowl by Alessi is made in Italy from FSC-certified lime wood and is available in various colour combinations.
