Since 1989, Alessi has been reviving the centuries-old manufacturing tradition on the lathe. Many young designers were fascinated by the simplicity of the tool and have since designed various wooden products together with the famous designer Ettore Sottsass. The Twergi collection includes pepper mills, corkscrews, tins and bowls.

The Twergi corkscrew by Alessi is made in Italy from FSC-certified beech wood and is available in different colours.
