Alessi Kitchen Storage Jars DRESSED

The Dressed storage jar is part of the eponymous collection by Marcel Wanders. The fine lid decor and the elegant material combination of glass and stainless steel are the reasons why the storage jar is a successful combination of modern form and classical accents.

Ornaments are traditionally on the most visible places of an object. Wanders, however, places them unobtrusively, slightly hidden, sometimes even in places where they normally cannot be seen at all. It is more an introverted decoration made by Wanders.

The name of the Dressed Collection already reveals that the decoration looks like a pretty dress: It emphasises the content without stealing the limelight.
