Driade Camouflage Chair

Camouflage is an outdoor collection that includes a high and low armchair, a table and small table, all made of aluminum. In these sculptured elements the geometrical design of the structure frames the elaborated fretworked decoration. “We feel that we have created something new, something so obvious, but never actually realised into a commercial outdoor furniture collection before. Modernism killed so many of the human nuances such as the importance of sculptural aesthetics that make our lives richer. With outdoor furniture the design criteria was always to be able to fold, stack and store the outdoor furniture until the weather allow us to spend time outside again. We feel that this collection offers not just an alternative, but also a new solution. The furniture can be left outside all year and additionally enrich our lives and environment as sculptural objects.” Fredrikson Stallard

Structure in laser fretworked and curved aluminum sheet, polyester painted. Outdoor use. It is available a seat and backrest cushion kit in outdoor fabric.

Composition: painted aluminum

Size: Height: 67 cm, Width: 63 cm, Depth: 70 cm, Seat Height: 34 cm, 11Kg

Driade

Driade is an Italian furniture and design company known for its avant-garde and artistic approach to furniture and home accessories. Founded in 1968 by Enrico Astori, Driade has collaborated with numerous renowned designers and architects to create unique and innovative products.

Driade has a long history of collaborating with internationally recognized designers, including Philippe Starck, Konstantin Grcic, Patricia Urquiola, and many others. These collaborations have resulted in a diverse range of products that showcase creativity, experimentation, and cutting-edge design.

Driade has produced several iconic furniture collections that have become design classics. For example, the "Tokyo-Pop" collection by Tokujin Yoshioka features sculptural and futuristic seating, while the "Nemo" chair by Fabio Novembre combines a human-shaped form with intricate details. These collections exemplify Driade's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design.

Their outdoor collections include chairs, tables, loungers, and other accessories that feature weather-resistant materials and distinctive design elements.

The Driade Roly Poly Armchair designed by Faye Toogood is highly regarded for its artistic expression and comfort. It is a standout piece that combines sculptural aesthetics with functional seating. For more detailed information, including specific availability and color options, I recommend visiting the official Driade website or contacting authorized retailers who can provide you with accurate and up-to-date information about the Roly Poly Armchair.
