Heikki Orvola designed the Kivi (’stone’ in Finnish) candleholders in 1988. Since then, the small jewels of light have become a modern classic of Nordic design. Created in a vast multicolour dream of vivid shades, Kivi showcases Iittala’s unique coloured glass expertise. Each hue is created using Iittala’s own personalized colour recipe.

The brand believes that good design should be accessible, enhance daily life, and stand the test of time. Their products are characterized by clean lines, minimalistic forms, and a focus on functionality.
