Kartell AI Light Low Stool by Philippe Starck
Description
Kartell AI Light Low Stool by Philippe Starck
The Kartell A.I Light Stool is another extension of Philippe Starck's revolutionary furniture design - created using artificial intelligence. It's made using recycled materials and born in response to creative input received from veteran in conjunction with the technical know how of Kartell. This merging of minds and intelligence has developed a stool based on an algorithm that respects the original brief of both Starck and Kartell : a comfortable seat with structural strength and solidity, cutting edge design aesthetics as well as being an injection moulded industrial product. The added value doesn't replace the designer's input and realisation of the project though - but it actually helps speed up the prototyping and planning processes which go into making a product, thus shortening the time to it being brought to the market. Furthermore, this has allowed the designers to do more with less material, which saves cost, waste, and ultimately the environment.
The added benefit of the A.I Light Stool is also the material from which it is made. This is 100% recycled and comes from production scraps - pure provision material which is not contaminated by other materials. This material maintains the highest aesthetic quality and structural requisites thus the chair allows to restore life to an otherwise unused industrial material. Genius!
