The Colonna stool is included in the "Kartell goes Sottsass - A Tribute to Memphis" collection, launched in 2015 in homage to the movement founded by design guru Ettore Sottsass. Available in five colours (red, lilac, purple, green and black), Colonna's main asset is its versatility, allowing it to be used as either a stool or a side table.

The Designer: Ettore Sottsass (14 September 1917 – 31 December 2007) was an Italian architect and designer during the 20th century. His body of work included furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting, home objects and office machine design, as well as many buildings and interiors. He founded the Memphis Group in 1980 and the Sottsass Associati. It works for major companies like Apple, Philips, Siemens, Zanotta, Fiat and Alessi.
