Alberto Saggia & Valerio Sommella

Alberto Saggia was born in 1978 in Novara. He gratuated from Politecnico of Milan in 2004, with a specialization in Lighting Design. Immediately began working with Metis Lighting Studio in Milan where, over 10 years, carried out several important projects all around the world, attending the entire development of custom made lighting solutions for various projects. Valerio Sommella, born in Cortona in 1980 and graduated cum laude from the Politecnico of Milan in 2004, began his design career working with Stefano Giovannoni. Later he moved to Amsterdam where he joined Marcel Wanders’ team. Since 2009, when he settled down in Milan and opened his design studio, he designs products in different fields, from furniture to consumer electronic goods and lighting both for Italian and international clients.
