The candle holder in the form of a porcelain doll’s head is related to the phenomenon of the fast obsolescence of design that was also the subject of the Underground Souveniers “Carlsbad” collection from 2009. However, time is an added value here. The morbid hole on the doll’s head gradually fills with wax: in addition, the candle holder grows old with its owner and only acquires the appearance that is natural and desirable with use.
