Kay Bojesen Skier Figure Boje the Boy
Description
Kay Bojesen Boje the Boy Skier
The two fresh skiers were designed by Kay Bojesen in the late 1940s. This happy skier boy is named Boje, who was the nickname for Kay Bojesen's son Otto. The skier boy's female runner is named after Otto's wife Ruth, who went by the nickname Datti.
The two cheerful skiers are only produced in small series, and the original wooden figures are quite rare. The fresh skier boy is made of painted beech wood and is with this relaunch again ready to occupy the Danish homes with his happy smile.
The skiers measure 15.5 cm in height.
