Seletti Gherkin Pillow Studio Job - The Gherkin Pillow is part of the Un_Limited collection created by Studio Job in a special collaboration with Seletti. The pillow takes the form of a gherkin and is perfect as an armrest or as a small bolster cushion. The pillow is crafted by hand in Italy using premium materials with a high level of attention to detail.
Material: fabrics in polyester, cotton, viscose, acrylic, linen
Size: H 19 cm, L 58 cm
The Un_Limited collection comprises the Hot Dog Sofa, the Burger Armchair and 3 vegetable cushions: Gherkin, Tomato and Cucumber, ideal "top-ups" for both the sofa and the armchair (please select each desired item and add to cart). The collection is part of a special Job & Seletti collaboration which includes furniture, lighting and accessories.
Studio Job was founded in 2000 by Nynke Tynagel and Job Smeets, both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven. They have been hugely influential in elevating design arts in contemporary culture with their highly sought-after limited edition creations. These are often inspired by highly personal experiences and are characterised by extravagant details executed using both traditional and modern techniques.
Seletti has evolved a long way from its roots as a family business founded in 1964 importing interior products into Italy. Now run by the second generation with Stefano Seletti at its creative helm, Seletti has broadened its product range from tableware to decorative items, lighting, furniture and more. Its vast collection reflects the creative energy of Stefano's team and his distinctive design philosophy: playful designs inspired by everyday objects but always with an unexpected, witty twist. Surprising and delightful in equal measures and always at democratic prices.
Studio Job
In 1998 Job Smeets Nynke Tynagel founded Studio Job, a creative hub based in Netherlands where traditional and modern come together to produce once- in-a-lifetime objects characterized by a strong love for details, freedom of expression and a blend of 2D and 3D. Extravagant and cartoon-like products made them pioneers in contemporary conceptual and sculptural design scene.
