Peter Svarrer graduated from Skolen for Brugskunst (the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design) in 1981, before setting up his own workshop at Christiania Glaspusteri. The hallmark of Peter Svarrer’s design is the fusion of aesthetics and practicality. His products are intended not only to be useful utensils, but also to be simple and beautiful. Nordic design tradition and the elegant shapes of nature are also a constant source of inspiration for his design. Peter Svarrer has won several awards for his glass designs.
